Grace Kelly was once one of the biggest stars in Hollywood. She started her acting career at 20, performing in theater productions in New York City.
Soon after, she became famous on TV during the Golden Age of Television. Many actresses from that time were elegant and beautiful, but Grace Kelly was considered one of the most stunning.
Born in Philadelphia, Grace Kelly was the perfect example of class and beauty. Between 1952 and 1956, she starred in many movies, including the adventure romance Mogambo with Clark Gable and Ava Gardner. Her performance in the film won her a Golden Globe for Best Supporting Actress.
In the following year, Grace Kelly starred in The Country Girl with Bing Crosby and won an Academy Award for Best Supporting Actress.
During her five-year movie career, Grace appeared in 11 films. Some of her most famous movies were the comedy musical High Society with Bing Crosby and Frank Sinatra, and three classic Alfred Hitchcock films: Dial M for Murder, Rear Window, and To Catch a Thief with Cary Grant.
At just 26 years old, Grace Kelly retired from acting to marry Prince Rainier III and become Princess of Monaco.
In those six years, Grace Kelly made 11 successful movies, won two Golden Globes, an Academy Award, and married a prince. After her marriage, she couldn’t continue acting. Instead, she focused on her family, raising three children—Caroline, Princess of Hanover; Albert II, Prince of Monaco; and Princess Stéphanie—and worked on charitable causes.
Sadly, Grace Kelly died in a car accident at the age of 52. She had a stroke, lost control of her car, and tragically passed away. Her youngest daughter, 17-year-old Princess Stéphanie, was in the car with her but survived the crash.
Grace Kelly’s three children went on to have 11 grandchildren, and many of them have inherited their grandmother’s style and elegance.
One of Grace Kelly’s youngest grandchildren is Camille Gottlieb. She is 24 years old and is the daughter of Princess Stéphanie of Monaco and Jean-Raymond Gottlieb.
The Monaco resident has two older half-siblings, her half-sister Pauline Ducruet also looks like her beautiful grandmother.
But Camille has inherited her grandmother’s blonde hair and piercing blue eyes, and there is no doubt who she is related to when she wears red lipstick.
She’s not eligible for the Monegasque throne as her parents weren’t married when she was born, in fact, her father’s identity was kept secret for a while, according to Town & Country
Her Instagram account, followed by almost 95,000 people, is full of images of Camille looking like her iconic grandmother.
Such a shame that Grace Kelly couldn’t have lived on to see her beautiful family grow, she would have been so proud of them all.
