After a challenging year dealing with serious health issues, Kate Middleton, who has already made a few public appearances, is spending the rest of the summer away from the public eye. She continues her cancer treatment and is also focusing on the future, making plans accordingly.

In a recent interview with OK! magazine, journalist Jennie Bond revealed that the Princess of Wales, 42, has already started preparing for her role as queen, which she will assume when her husband, Prince William, is crowned.

“I think you need to be quite strong to survive and thrive in the royal family,” Bond explained, adding, “But at the same time, it’s easy to feel intimidated by the hierarchical system of the palace.”.Being at the helm of the royal institution represents an even greater responsibility, but Bond believes that Middleton has the confidence necessary to take on this role:

“Catherine has the advantage of knowing that one day she will be the most important woman in the family and, in fact, in the country,” she said, continuing, “Therefore, she has the right to express her opinions on how the institution of monarchy will evolve in the years and decades to come.”

As part of her preparation, the Princess of Wales has turned to a trusted person with experience in the role of queen, namely, Queen Camilla: “I believe Queen Camilla and Catherine have found strength and inspiration in each other; they are two women in extraordinary situations in life, both with the same destiny,” Bond said.

As King Charles continues his battle with cancer, Middleton is aware that she and her husband, Prince William, may be crowned sooner, which is why the princess has decided to prioritize her family and children during this period. “Like many people who have gone through delicate experiences, Kate will prioritize what really matters to her from now on. In her case, that means her children,” a source told The Daily Beast.

“Charles’ cancer hasn’t gone away, the palace has said as much, and, to be completely honest, the once-popular notion that he will live to a similar age as his mother (94 years) or his father (99 years) is now less likely,” the source added, according to In Style.

“I think this has caught Kate’s attention, and she’s thinking that only a few years of freedom remain. What can she do during those years? Raise her little ones and try to prepare them for the life that awaits them,” the source further noted.

Prince William Doesn’t Want His Brother Harry at His Coronation

Prince William has no intention of inviting Harry to his coronation when the time comes, according to insider sources. Though they were once so close, it seems the two brothers haven’t spoken for almost two years and are “estranged,” which a close friend described as “terribly sad,” writes the Daily Mail.

Friends of the 42-year-old Prince of Wales revealed that William doesn’t want Harry (39) to be present when he is crowned king. Their relationship is so cold that Harry and Meghan only learned about Princess Kate’s diagnosis along with the general public when she revealed everything in a heartbreaking video message filmed in the Windsor gardens. A source close to Harry and Meghan said they privately contacted William’s wife in Wales to wish her well, but received only silence in return.

As he recounted in his memoir “Spare,” Harry feels despised by members of the royal family, including his own brother. The two haven’t spoken since their grandmother, Queen Elizabeth II’s funeral, in September 2022.
