“I never really went on vacations with my mom growing up,” Lopez admitted. “It wasn’t because we didn’t want to or because we didn’t have a good relationship. It was quite the opposite.”
Lopez’s mother, Guadalupe Rodríguez, worked tirelessly to provide for her family and support Jennifer’s ambitions. As a single mother raising three daughters, Rodríguez juggled multiple jobs and responsibilities, often putting her own needs and desires on hold to ensure her children could pursue their dreams.
“My mom worked so hard,” Lopez explained. “She was always there for us, making sure we had what we needed. Vacations just weren’t a priority when we had bills to pay and goals to achieve.”
